Do you ever get a text message that looks legit and you want to respond? Well, here are a couple examples of scam texts...
- User #25384: Your Gmail profile has been compromised. Text back SENDNOW in order to reactivate your account.
- Did you purchase (x, y, z) today? Text back YES or NO... Then, when you text back NO, the scammers call you and eventually ask for your PIN number.
We will NEVER ASK FOR YOUR PIN NUMBER! When the Credit Union calls you, we will verify if we are speaking to you by your name and other identifying information. We already have that information. You should never give out your PIN to anyone.
