SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Readers from across Siouxland have voted Telco Triad Community Credit Union the winner of the Best Credit Union/Bank in the region, according to the 2023 Siouxland's Choice Awards.
Contest results were released on Thursday, February 23.
“It's an incredible honor that our members, employees and the Siouxland community recognized us at their favorite financial institution,” said Andrew G. Barriger, CEO of Telco Triad Community Credit Union. “It also speaks volumes about our employees' incredible service, knowledge and commitment to the community.”
The Siouxland's Choice Awards are an annual online voting contest established by the Sioux City Journal and Weekender publications to “select the best of everything Siouxland has to offer.” Readers are asked to vote for their favorite local businesses and organizations in several categories.
To qualify, five finalists in each category were first selected through a public nomination process, then voted upon during a contest period that lasted until December 22, 2022. This year, the Journal reported a record number of votes more than 185,000 cast during the voting period.
