SPENCER, IA – Marley Radcliff, a member of Telco Triad Community Credit Union (Telco Triad) in Spencer, Iowa, was recently awarded the Iowa Credit Union Foundation’s (ICUF) Warren A. Morrow Memorial Scholarship, which is presented each year to Credit Union members who are pursing higher education.
Applicants were asked to complete the designated online entry form and answer an essay question in no more than 500 words. This year’s question was:
Our financial experiences help shape our overall financial understanding and well-being. Share a financial lesson, event or experience that has influenced you or your family personally. If relevant, share how your Credit Union played a role. How will this experience impact your financial planning as you pursue higher education?
Marley Radcliff won for her compelling essay on financial literacy, recounting how purchasing her first car led her to understand loans, interest rates and the benefits of Credit Unions, ultimately empowering her to make smarter financial decisions for the future.

This year, the Iowa Credit Union Foundation awarded 24 scholarships totaling $46,000.
